ෆයිනස් වනාන්තරයකින් වටවීඇති වංගෙඩිගල කන්ද ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ කොළඹ - බදුල්ල මාර්ගයේ කලුපහන ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටි තවත් ඉතාමත් සුන්දර ස්ථානයකි.
මෙයට මෙම නම ලැබීමට හේතුව වන්නේ මෙහි ඉහළ වංගෙඩියක හැඩයෙන් යුත් ගල්කනු කිහිපයක් පැවතීමයි. මෙම මනරම් කදුවැටිය කොළඹ - බදුල්ල මාර්ගයේ බෙලිහුල්ඔය කලුපහන ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටා ඇත .
ලංකාවේ උසම දියඇල්ල වන බඹරකන්ද දියඇල්ලද මෙය ආසන්නයෙන් පහලට කඩාහැලේ . කදු මුදුනට මෙම දියඇල්ල මනාව දිස්වේ.
මේ වනවිට සංචාරකයින් විසින් මෙම ප්‍රදේශය බොහෝ සෙයින් විනාශ කර ඇති බැවින් මේ වනවිට වනරක්ෂණ දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් මෙහි යාම තහනම් කර ඇත. මේ වනවිට තවත් මෙවැනි සුන්දර ස්ථාන විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක් සංචාරකයින්ගේ නොහොබිනා ක්‍රියාකලාපය නිසා විනාශ වෙමින් පවතී. 
විඩාබර ජීවිතයෙන් මිදී කදුපන්තියක් තරණය කර ලබාගත හැකි ආශ්වාදය ඉතාමත් සුන්දර බව සැබැවකි , එනමුත් එම සුන්දරත්වය තවකෙකුට ලබා ගැනීම සදහා පරිස්සම්කිරීම අපගේ වගකීමක් මෙන්ම යුතුකමකි .

English Translated
Mount 'Wangedigala' which is surrounded by a pine forest, is another scenic spot in Sri Lanka.
The reason to obtain this name is that there are several stone pillars in the shape of a mortar (wangediya), on the top of this mountain.
This beautiful mountain range is located in the Belihuloya Kalupahana area on the Colombo - Badulla road.
Bambarakanda Falls, the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka, cascades down near here. This waterfall is clearly visible from the top of the mountain.
The Department of Forest Conservation has banned visiting this area as it has been largely destroyed by travellers.
Currently, a large number of such beautiful places are being destroyed due to the beneath activities of tourists.
It is true that the inspiration that can be obtained by getting rid of a tired life and climbing a mountain is very pleasant, but it is our responsibility as well as our duty to protect and save that experience for others.
Or the day that Sri Lanka will be a heap of rubbish is not so far away.
