දිගු කාර්යබහුල කාලයකින් අනතුරුව නැවතත් අප චාරිකාවක් යාමට අවශ්‍ය බව සිතා නුවරඑළිය දිස්ත්‍රික්කයට අයත් මනරම් ගලබොඩ දිය ඇල්ල නැරඹීමට යාමට කතිකා කරගත්තෙමු. ගලබොඩ දිය ඇල්ලට යාමට පහසුම මාර්ගය දුම්රිය බව දැනගත් අප චාරිකාව යාමට නියමිත දිනයේ අවශ්‍ය ආහාර පාන ද සූදානම් කරගෙන උදෑසන 8.15 පමණ වන විට මහනුවර දුම්රිය ස්ථානය වෙත පැමිණියෙමු.
කොළඹ සිට බදුල්ල දක්වා දිවෙන පොඩි මැණිකේ දුම්රියෙන් ගලබොඩ දුම්රිය ස්ථානයට ගිය හැකි බවද එය 8.46 පමණ වනවිට මහනුවර දුම්රිය ස්ථානයට පැමිණෙන බව දැනගත් අප කඩිනමින් ප්‍රවේශ පත්‍රද රැගෙන අදාල වේදිකාව වෙත ගියෙමු. සුළු වේලාවකින් පොඩි මැණිකේ දුම්රිය පැමිණි අතර එයට ගොඩ වූ අපට හිද ගැනීමට ආසුනක් සොයා ගැනීම නම් පහසු කරුණක් නොවීය . නමුත් සෙනඟ අතරින් හැකි ඉක්මනින් ගොස් ආසන සොයා ගැනීමට අපට හැකිවිය. නුවර සිට ගලබොඩ දුම්රිය ස්ථානය වෙත දිවෙන දුම්රිය මාර්ගයේ අපිට මනරම් පරිසරයක් ද දැක ගැනීමට හැකි විය. පැය 2ට අධික දුම්රිය ගමනකින් අනතුරුව දුම්රිය ස්ථානය වෙත පැමිණි අප දුම්රිය ස්ථානධිපති ද හමු වී නැවත නුවරට යාමට දුම්රියක් ඇත්තේ සවස 2.28 ට බවද දැනගත් අප එතැන් සිට ගලබොඩ දිය ඇල්ල වෙත ගමන ආරම්භ කළෙමු.
ගලබොඩ දුම්රිය ස්ථානයේ සිට 2km පමණ දුරක් පයින් ගමන් කිරීමෙන් දියඇල්ල පිහිටා ඇති ස්ථානයට ගිය හැකි අතර මෙම මාර්ගයේ අතරමගදී අපට ප්‍රවේශ පත්‍ර ලබා ගැනීමේ ස්ථානයක් ද හමුවේ. එයින් ප්‍රවේශ පත්‍ර ලබාගත් අප විනාඩි 45ක පමණ ගමනකින් අනතුරුව ගලබොඩ දිය ඇල්ල අසලට පැමිණියෙමු . දියඇල්ලේ ඉහළ පෙදෙසට යාමට නම් කුඩා හෙල්ලෙන පාලමකින් ගමන් කළ යුතු අතර දියඇල්ල අවට පරිසරය ඉතා සිත් ඇදගන්නා සුළුය. මෙහි උස 30m පමණ වේ. මෙය වර්ෂාව අධික කාලයක් නොවන බැවින් අපට දිය නෑමටද අවස්ථාව හිමිවිය. දිය නෑමෙන් අනතුරුව දිවා ආහාරය ලබාගත් අප නැවත 2.28 වනවිට දුම්රිය ස්ථානයට යා යුතු බැවින් 1.30ට පමණ දිය ඇල්ලේ ඉහළ පෙදෙසේ සිට දුම්රිය ස්ථානය බලා ගමන් ආරම්භ කළෙමු .
බදුල්ලේ සිට කොළඹ දක්වා දිවෙන දුම්රියට ගලබොඩ දුම්රිය ස්ථානයෙන් ගොඩ වූ අප සවස 4 පමණ වන විට මහනුවර දුම්රිය ස්ථානය වෙත පැමිණියෙමු . නැවතත් සුන්දර චාරිකාවකින් හමුවන බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් අප සියලු දෙනා සතුටු සිතින් සමුගත්තෙමු.

After a long busy time period we decided to go on a trip again and decided to visit the beautiful Galaboda Falls in the Nuwara Eliya District.After Knowing that the easiest way to reach Galaboda Falls was by train, we arrived to the Kandy Railway Station at around 8.15 am on the day of the trip with the prepared necessary food and drinks.
When we findout that the Podi Manike train from Colombo to Badulla could reach the Galaboda railway station,and it will arrive to the Kandy railway station at around 8.46 am,we ran to the suitable platform with our train tickets. After a while the Podi Manike train arrived and we got on to the train but it was not an easy task to find a seat for us. But however we were able to get out of the crowd as quickly as possible and find seats. On the railway from Kandy to Galaboda we were also able to enjoy a beautiful scenery. After the train journey of over 2 hours, we arrived to the Galaboda station,then met the station master and learned that there will be a train to return Kandy at 2.28 pm.And from there we followed our path to Galaboda Falls.
After walking for about 2km from Galaboda railway station we could reach the waterfall and we found the ticket counter on the way. After obtaining our tickets, we arrived to the Galaboda Falls in about 45 minutes. To reach the top of the waterfall, we had to cross a small shaking bridge and but the surroundings were very attractive. The height here is about 30m.As this is not the rainy season, we had a chance to take a bath also. We had to go back to the station at 2.28, so we started our way back from the top of the waterfall to the station at around 1.30 after bathing and having our lunch.
We boarded to the train from Badulla to Colombo,at the Galaboda Railway Station and arrived to Kandy Railway Station around 4 pm. Then we all said our goodbyes happily in the hope of meeting again on a lovely trip like this.
